Camping

We went camping for the first time as a family and yet was a success! Boys seem to have a good time. We went with another family who had a four-year-old boy and one year old boy as well. The older boys pretty much beat each other up while the little boys stared at each other. We went to Mounds State Park in Anderson which I had never been to before. Most people had campers and tents which is not quite the style of camping I am used to but we had a great time. The family we went with also had a camper that the boys played in most of the time.

Taking our first steps

Ok. I am testing out our new blog cause I've been really bad and the old name (gavinmakesthree) just didn't seem right any more.

It has been pointed out recently (thank you Reynolds) that some of us don't keep each other informed of the goings on in our lives. While I intend this to be happy blog (bitching goes somewhere else), I hope to be better at up dating it.

Recent things.... Miles got to experience his first beach ever and Gavin played at his first freshwater beach (Lake Michigan in Chicago). Now though I missed the little critters in the surf, it was pretty damn nice.

We Walked to ice cream afterwords and a sweet older cousin held Gavin's hand as they walked.
